    Yoga Flow Classes

Yoga Flow is a Hatha Vinyasa class suitable for beginners and those who have some experience of yoga. We mobilise our bodies through flowing movement, guided by our breath, working through a sequence of poses designed to stretch and strengthen the whole body. It’s a steady paced class with lots of options so you can take your practise to the level that feels good for you. You'll find lots of relaxation and pranayama (breathwork) mixed in to give you a holistic class for your body, mind and soul.

    Gentle Yoga Classes

Gentle Yoga is a slow paced class, focusing on mindful movement, breathing and relaxation. We work on floor based and standing poses, building strength and helping to develop balance and flexibility. It is an excellent class for beginners but equally suitable for experienced yogis. We warm up our bodies and flow with our breath, practising different breathing techniques to feel calm. Expect to leave feeling grounded and relaxed, having released some stress and tension from the body and mind.

  • Well Woman hatha restorative and yin Yoga Classes in Whitwick

    Well Woman Yoga Classes

Designed for women of all ages who desire time and space to dedicate to their own health and wellbeing. This class is all about moving gently to boost our endorphins and feel good! We work on our core strength and weight-bearing poses to increase our muscle strength. We take extra time to slow down towards the end of our class and hold deeper stretchy yin poses and soothing, relaxing, 'restorative yoga' poses where we rest completely to help us balance out our bodies and feel completely calm. This class is ideal for women struggling with stress, anxiety, peri-menopause or menopause symptoms.

    Chair Yoga Classes

Yoga is for every BODY and if your body is safer or more comfortable staying seated during a yoga practise, then Chair Yoga is for you! Ideal if you have mobility or health issues or find it hard getting up and down off the floor, Chair Yoga classes give you the confidence to join in, gently move your body and work on breathing effectively. We have a great laugh in this class, make new friends and stay for a cup of tea at the end to socialise and connect with each other. Chair Yoga is ideal for WI and other community group meetings.

    Rest & Relax Yoga Classes

These classes are all about unwinding and letting go of the stress in your life. We lie or sit in floor-based 'Restorative Yoga' poses that require zero effort for 5-10 minutes each. We let the body soften into bolsters and pillows to calm the nervous system and help release muscle tension. I guide you through a Yoga Nidra practise (like a guided meditation) which can be wonderfully calming, healing and has been proven to offer the same benefits as 2-4 hours sleep. You’ll leave feeling calm, connected, refreshed and ready for a great sleep.

  • group of women practising menopause yoga

    Menopause Yoga Classes

Menopause Yoga is designed for women in peri- to post-menopause. If you’re experiencing symptoms like hot flushes, rage, irritability, aching body, and anxiety, Menopause Yoga classes are ideal for you. We practise gently to care for our bodies during this period of change. We learn breathing techniques to release anxiety, tension and irritability. We end with restorative yoga poses to really soothe ourselves. I teach menopause yoga in courses and workshops - please register your interest to find out about the next dates.
